Kim Lewington has seen the business develop dramatically since he first started in 1981. He began offering plumbing and central heating (when central heating was quite unusual). Now this side of the business is fully developed with almost every house having a heating system. However with the rise in energy prices, it started to become clear in the last eight years or so that the heating industry was starting to change. With concerns over the cost of fuel and the environmental argument over CO² emissions, renewable energy became an area that more and more people were interested in. In 2000 Kim started investigation how he could offer a comprehensive service in this area.

In 2000, Darren King began working for Kim Lewington and now is in charge of the renewable energy side of the business. As well as being an expert in this field he quotes and often personally installs the renewable energies systems such as solar or ground source heating. Kim, Graham and Darren have built the business to make the most of the renewable energy market. Under normal circumstances, Darren will oversee your renewable energy installation from the first phone call to the completion of the work, and any after care needed.
Trained Professionals
As well as our engineers being CORGI, LPG and OFTEC qualified they are also Worcester Bosch accredited installers, and are trained on ground & air source heat pumps as well as solar installations. As part of their ongoing development, our engineers are regularly sent on training courses to keep them completely up to date with the regulations within the ever changing industry.
